Roy Samo, the Home’s Manager, reports as follows -
On behalf of the family and colleagues, I want to take this chance to officially inform all friends, relatives, workmates and everyone of the sadden demise of Mr James Ayokiwuod Seme kaila. His death came as a surprise to us on Tuesday, 27 October 2015, at around 5 pm.
Though he never reported to work this day, he had permission from us to handle some family matters and so we never met him this day. So sad that he was never ailing and his abrupt death at home has shocked the entirely family and friends. James was a friend, father and supporter to many.
James was my Deputy Manager at Emmanuel Home, formerly the Kanyawegi Children's Home. The entire Rehema organisation and Emmanuel wishes to convey their condolences.
Arrangements are that on Tuesday next week, the 3rd November 2015, there will be a fundraising event to try and offset several pending matters. As you are all aware, a funeral is an expensive thing in the African culture.
A tentative program includes removal of his body from Coptic Morgue on Wed 11th, then an overnight stay there, the 12th will be the day he will for his proposed home where we shall construct or establish his home and stay overnight there. The 13th will be a day for him to stay at his new home and the burial will be on Saturday 14th, all this in this November, according to the family. Any changes will be communicated to you, in due course.
Lastly, we as colleagues have settled on Linda Min Yawuoyi Joanto coordinate the activities relating to Mwalimu and any donation can reach her on 07244 19691 [ +2547244 19691 ] and we shall forward to the family.
R.I.P James, Rip mwalimu, Rip jakaila, Rip oke kaneya. We will surely miss you, the soft spoken leader, quiet, humble, patient, cooperative, what else baba!
